ORADEV AB is growing and is now looking for a skilled Java Developer with around five years of experience who wants to work as a consultant on exciting and long-term client assignments. We are a company that values competence, commitment, and a culture where people thrive and develop.

About the role

As a Java Developer at ORADEV AB, you will work on projects for our clients in sectors such as finance, industry, public sector, or tech. You will be an important part of the development team and contribute your expertise in system development, architecture, and problem-solving.

When you are between client assignments, you will participate in internal projects, where you will have the opportunity to contribute to ORADEV's own initiatives, develop new solutions, and strengthen the company's technical offerings.

Security requirements

Several of our client assignments require security clearance.

You will therefore participate in security-sensitive activities and undergo a security review with background checks and a special interview.

Swedish citizenship is a requirement.

We are looking for someone who has:

• A degree, preferably in computer science, system development, or a related field
• About 5 years of experience in Java development
• Very good knowledge of Java 11+ (preferably also experience with Java 17 or 21)
• Experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Data
• Familiarity with building REST APIs and working with microservices
• Good understanding of SQL and relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL)
• Experience with Git, CI/CD workflows, and containerization with Docker
• Experience with a cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Good experience with unit testing and integration testing

Meritorious

• Experience working in Linux
• Experience with Kubernetes or serverless architecture
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases
• Experience with event-driven systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
• Previous experience in a consulting role

Employment form

We offer a 6-month probationary period that then transitions to a permanent position or project employment, depending on the assignment and agreement.
